Developed with support from UK Asian Film Festival (UKAFF), British Council Pakistan & Indus Valley School of Art Architecture
Where five short films from selected UK and Pakistan-based artists were shown. I was joined by Omar Parry Kent (UK), Kuldeep Khatri (PK), Nirmal Bano (PK) and Sameen Ali (PK). Following the screening, Kuldeep, Nirmal and Sameen travelled to the UK to present their work at the UK Asian Film Festival (UKAFF) in Rich Mix, London alongside the UK cohort - a meaningful moment of cross-cultural exchange.
My sincere thanks go to the British Council Pakistan and UKAFF for initiating this project, and to Fatima Mullick, Haider Ali Khan and Laila Jamil for their continued support. It was a privilege to be part of this cohort, and I look forward to seeing where these artists go next.
