Selected participant for the 2025 edition of the Alternate Realities XR Artists Forum. The initiative exists to promote collaborations between artists, collectives, creatives and organisations focused on using digital technologies to experiment and play with non-fiction boundaries. It fosters connections between selected artists and representatives in new media, providing opportunities to create a network in the field and receive advice and feedback on projects in development. Humira was selected among 13 artists for this year's cohort, which included Amy Crighton, Meg Fozzard, Suki Chan, and others.
A seven-month residency with the IJAD Dance Company, exploring XR (VR/AR/MR) and AI applications for digital live performance and hybrid production. Investigated how emerging technologies can support accessible, innovative performance-making, with a focus on motion capture, volumetric capture and real-time 3D workflows.
As part of the Metaverse Creation Lab, Created an avatar from scratch for VRChat using VRoid, Blender and Unity, with support from mentors and workshops. The avatar, Maqbhul walked a virtual catwalk as part of the programme showcase.
